In his defense (not that he needs my help) he reported an 8% skinfold test and then a 19% body water immersion test. As you know the later measures the fat around organs as well, which has no bearing on our traditional bodybuilder viewpoint of bodyfat. So taking the average really IS misleading, its the sub q fat that we bodybuilders care about not the internal organ fat which we ALL have a good bit of to protect the organs. Whats really important is the 8% for our purposes, so 8% at 215 changes the equation a bit.

Also, these numbers he repots are his goals, they arent set in stone. I was watching Pumping Iron the other day and look at the psyche jobs Arnold did on his competitors. Kiyoshi played sports at the highest professional level he might know something about pysche jobs. What if his competitors read this and go, oh shit, he MUST be on something, I better find a way and they take shit and get DQ'ed or they dont and they stress. I mean look at the upheaval over the two threads....

I dont know, but Im just saying.........

For instance Im considering doing 2008 Team U in the bantams, Id never face Kiyoshi except if I won my class, so his prep really has no bearing on me, but it makes me think, damn, even if I am 8% June 1 when I could begin prep (have too many vacations planned prior) why even bother when he started at 8% back in April and is gaining 10-15 lbs into the show????

good points...and truth about the bodyfat readings...nobody has clearly defined quads, hammies, and chest striations and shoulder separation at non 1 digit subcutaneous bodyfat percentages...visually...it looks like Kiyoshi gains a good 10-15lbs of muscle and maybe loses 1-5lbs of fat...because remember....if you dont gain any fat and gain muscle...your bodyfat percentage decreases...and gimme a break on the "gyno" I've seen the supposed gyno pics of kiyoshi, if that's gyno then I had gyno last year competing at 180...at 6'1...yeah big time on the sauce

keep growin, knowin & bangin Diesel!

The reason why is it's not the norm. Everyone has been taught to lose weight when they diet to get ready for a show!!!

Been training like a mad man, down 19lbs of fat and up 4-5lbs of muscle since March 1. Got really sick last week and just rested, back in the gym today and had a great workout.

Hope to drop 12lbs more by June 1, that will put me at 10-11% BF and thats thin enough for this old man.

It just takes hard work and a good AB program, never mind the gyno.

              26.65 lbs of fat
              4.3lbs of fat

              33lbs of muscle gain
              22.35lbs of fat loss
              In 21 weeks 100%% naturally

1.57 lbs of muscle gain a week
1.06 lb of fat loss a week

Ab's whats that? I dont train abs till one month out from a show!!!!

Kevin Levrone used to gain 30-40lbs for a show.
He was one of the most genetically gifted men in BBing.
Off season he was 205-210 & would jump to 240-250.
So it is possible. I always gain muscle going into a show.
                    Not 30 lbs though.

                    Good luck KM

Why do you care? Just a word of advice.. I would focus on yourself and other obligations in life then worry about if a guy is a natural or not.. I have seen many freaks in my day, and its just easier to say he is sauced up then to beleive he is just has great genetics and trains and eats his butt off.

lol, Dont ever think I would think you would be a dik for asking a question!!! no problem I try to answer all quesitions. Acne!!!! lol. Shyt I havent had acne since I waw 18!!!lol. Yes i not acne and it is not GH use or injection bumps as they call it. I am going to find you the corrrect term for it if you can bare with me. It's when your bodyfat drops really low. there is a term for the bumps. If you go through alot of my pics on MD you will find some that have the bumps and some that dont. If I had GH injections wouldnt they be there all the time?
