    i'm currently 6 weeks out from my comp, i'm taking about 1.5gm/kg of protein ,moderate fats and moderate carbs
    how much is the requirement of protein so that my muscle mass will be maintained? my gym guy said that i need about 2gm/kg...i dunno whether its the truth or he's trying to sell me more protein powder...

    I eat 3g/kg of bodyweight.

    Who says you have to eat it as whey protein?

    Most of my protein is from real food, minimal whey protein each day.

    However, as you are not that far out from a comp, if it isn't broken, don't fix it.
