    hi there..
    i'm taking hydroxycut hardcore...do i stop at 1 week out or continue to take it as usual till competition day?

    Take them all the way up to the competition. The less you change the better during pre-contest.

      I agree with that, with the exception of carb-loading, which is hampered by high levels of caffeine.


      If you are doing carb-deplete/carb-load, I would consider the caffeine free version of Hydroxycut for carb-loading.

        Agree. But now you are talking about the very late stages of prep. I always use a stimulant free fat burner (Lipolyze by Species) and limit myself to one cup of coffee in the am and the diet cokes go out the window during the last week.

          I always wonder just HOW much of an effect regular coffee has on carb-loading.

          I LOVE my coffee, and just one cup a day is tortureous.

            Man those thermogenic fat burners have been killing me. I've been on them since Feb 1 and I cannot wait to get off them after my June comp.
