  • hows my diet?

    im getting ready for my first figure show in july12. Im 5'7 and right now i weigh 130. im at 10 -11% fat. Ive been dieting since 16 weeks from the show day. I just changed it 2 weeks a go to the following. Any suggestions?
    Wake up 4:30am
    Cardio: 5-6am 1 hour cardio at 164-174 BPM treadmill
    meal 1: 6:30 am 5oz chicken breast 1 cup cooked white rice H2O=405cal
    1 soft gel flaxseed oil1200mg
    1 soft gel fishoil 1000mg
    1 l-glutamine 500mg
    1 tablet Centrum
    meal 2: 9:30am 5 oz chicken breast 1/2 cup cooked white rice H2O
    305cal
    meal 3: 12:30pm 5 oz Chicken breast 1 cup broccoli H2O 255cal
    meal 4: 3:30pm 7 egg whites 1 scoop whey 229cal
    meal 5: 6:30pm 1 can tuna H2O 150 cal
    Workout: 7:00pm 1 hour weights
    5 tablets BCAA"S before, mid and after my weight training
    Cardio: 8:00pm 1 Hour cardio treadmill same as AM.
    meal 6: 9:00pm 1 scoop whey 110 cal

    Sleep 9:30-10:00pm No Later! (The Hell With The Boyfriend!!!)

    Sometimes I will have an oz of almonds either with my 1st or second meal
    and If I need to cheat I will have a 10 calorie jello with my 3rd meal or 4th meal. Otherwise I suck it up.

    Post some pics. Also your carbs look very low.

      meal 5: 6:30pm 1 can tuna H2O 150 cal
      Workout: 7:00pm 1 hour weights

      You're 8 weeks out, time to kick it up a notch. If you're using whey protein, add a teaspoon of natty peanut butter to slow absorption down.

        you should be aiming somewhere along 174grams of protein per day. your LBM is somewhere around 116lbs......cardio your BPM should be around 130......and big mike covered the need for carbs PWO (i would use waxy maize as your PWO carb).......if you like rice for every carb meal thats fine, but you could also use yams and oatmeal......Good luck to you!

            that is your lean body mass as of now.....after you pull water you would be a little less and if you lose any muscle while dieting...your goal should be to keep as much muscle as possible, while only shedding the BF. if you did that you would be arounf 116 come centest time, then after you expel the water you would be less.
