I see you work for EAS. You have anything to do with the EAS Body For Life Challenge? I take my final pics in 3 weeks for that.
Sounds good man, hit me up if you need me.

I'm very much involved with the Body-for-Life Challenge... be sure you write a damn good essay to really get considered. The Transformation is always cool to see, but its the journey that brought you to the final product is what wins it. Plus, it is very inspiring to other challengers if you get published. I'm actually doing the BFL employee challenge... I get a decent wad of cash if I win, and I'm sure I'll come in ripped. The payoff is definitely doubled there

By some miracle, I am still busting my ass, doing 2 hours of cardio a day and eating perfect- trying to get as lean as possible just in case I can be ready. I dont see a way humanly possible to take a 20mm pinch on my abs though and get it into the single digits with 3 weeks to go.

I want to let everyone know I am not quitting because I am lazy, or tired, or any of that shit. I am so fucking pissed right now that I have a fire under my ass that has fueled some great workouts the past week! I have found another show to do, and will post up a new journal prepping for that show.

It's easy to point fingers at my diet and say I cant handle the carbs I was on. That's completely untrue. I was too damn fat, and to lose the amount of fat I needed to lose in the timeframe I chose was not enough. I did not want to lose a ton of muscle just to work my ass off to put it back on in the offseason. No thanks. I do know that after 18 weeks of dieting, thanks to Tipsta, I have not lose any muscle. I just needed to be much leaner when I started. I wish I would have gotten ahold of him with more time to work together as I know I would have been very competitive.

That brings me to Tipsta(Mark). I have learned more from him the past few months that I learned all last year with a national level bodybuilder who I was best friends with and worked out with most of the year. Too many times he gets jumped on by others, but I assure you there are not many on this site who knows about the body like he does. He was great to work with- he kept on me like a hawk and let me have it when I messed up. That's what successful coaches do. He was also aware of the real world around all of us and how to adapt to situations. All this being said, I am 100% happy with the prep he provided me. I can take his protocol and use it from now and and be successful, and help others. Now that I know how my body reacts and how long I need, I will continue to get lean using his principles. Thanks Mark, I appreciate the FREE help you have given me and others. That says a ton about you right there.

If everything goes as planned, I will do the Kansas State Championships and post up a journal here with pics, diet, workouts, etc just like I did with the Mo State Championships. And, thanks to everyone who contributed to my Mo State thread over the past couple months. I am not done by a long shot, I just want to be in great shape for my first show.
i think it has to be all those pancakes.

dude I know your probably upset with yourself and feel like a quitter. But no, you are just being a realist. And I think you'll be quite amazed/excited with the transformation that you will make in the next 14 weeks.

    Good luck

If you do the Kansas State let me know. I will be there. I own a gym in the KC area, and know the promoter very well.
