    far be it for me to recommend you don't compete....far from it

    my point was that, if you're having so much trouble qualifying for nationals at a regional show, do you honestly think you're ready for the national level stage yet?

      the fact that his water was cut on Thursday and not even that late on Thursday for a Saturday show the probability of him retaining a shit ton of water and sodium by Saturday are pretty high

      you could reintroduce water at some point to help you fill out but with everything else you've done already I see no real way to remedy the situation and come in at your best

      after weighins I'd get some red meat and skinless potato in you and hope for the best

        i think you are just a little too late. maybe u will have to compete as a middle. I agree a few days ago maybe you could have done something, but the day b4 is just suicide. I am sur u dieted for a long time, and spent countless hours on your tan and posing. Don't ruin yourself for a weightclass. I have been in your shoes every time I compete. EVERY TIME. The last day I am always biting my nails wondering if I am going to make weight. I think if you are in shape it won't matter

        btw, don't do cardio
        and I would not have cut the water today, tommorrow at @6 or so maybe later, whatever is ok with you. Three days without water (thurs, fri, sat.) will flaten you out and it won't matter if you make weight. when you flex or pump or pose nothing will happen and if it is this big show you are talking about you will prob be nervous backstage, so with all that going on, i would show up and weigh in and do your best at the weight you come in.

              marlboro lights and prunes...not kidding.
              Had a buddy from college who plays professional football, that had to make weight, or get fined. ate a crapload 9literally) of prunes and smoked the cigs to help dry out. Dropped like 12 lbs in 3 days.

                  Need to lose 6lbs in 24h to make lightweights, help!!

                  Ok so i cut my water out at 5pm, I'm using herbal diuretics (max dose) and a mild laxative.
                  But what the **** do i eat??? Do i further deplete by only eating boiled meat every 3 hours until the weigh-in or do i start eating dry rice cakes???



                  Its currently thursday afternoon, weigh-in is tomorrow night friday at 8pm.

                  I'm 160 lbs and i need to be 154 on the dot or under...

                      in a bind go for a colonic ... I could give some other advise but works for me may not work for you .. I highly recommend cutting at least once every 3rd month if not more frequent the more you do it the more you learn your body... hence the guys who excel at cutting are wrestlers and have mastered it through repetitive trial and error

                        It is easy enough to drop 6lbs of water the day of, just sauna it off.

                          6 lbs is nothing. I would eat little to nothing over the next 24 hours. Then after the weigh in replenish
