    So the names Pete, And i'll be doing my first show on May 23rd. The date to start dieting is next Saturday. So i figured I'd jump the bandwagon and start a journal...to take you guys on a journey of my trials and tribulations Right now the scale reads 208, and the computer at the gym said im 10 percent bodyfat...not sure if its true or not. I'll add pictures soon.

          here's some pictures from 3 weeks ago....i'll keep updating






          These pictures are about 20 weeks out. I will be cutting my calories and carbs on saturday. Which will be about 15 weeks out

            Best of luck with your prep, Pete. What show are you doing again?

            And are you getting any assist from Tim? He certainly knows what he's doing if you go by his track record.

              u still have plenty of time. dont go by the computer readings. I know those pics are from 3 weeks ago but by the pics you look more like 15%bf.
              you have a good taper bro and your back lat looks pretty dang good. focus on comign in shredded and its your first show so have fun! probably look pretty good in the middle weights

                    ur not 10% bf but just diet hard and dont stop or think ur getting too small or ur losing muscle or anything, mentally dieting for a show is a bitch, but stay strong and you'll be alright.

                      Nice taper, but I agree, ur a little bit off with the BF%. I have an electronic sensor on my scale at home, a new one, and its whack. Even the slightest things throw it off, especially hydration. One morning, I woke up, took a piss and weighed myself. I was 205 and it said 24% bodyfat. That would make my lean body mass at around 155. I competed in September at around 180 non-dehydrated, and I'm sure I didnt have 25 pounds of fat on me then, so theres no way I lost my LBM or was that fat lol. Anyways, work hard and youll be money.                         Right the thing i dont understand is it was a 7 fold test. Oh well i don't really care to much...i have 15 weeks to diet and bring it down. But i apreciate you guy's comments..this was a good idea and will help me stay focused and motivated..I trained chest today...nothing to special keep im not exactly the strongest guy but here's what i did

                        Flat Dumbell Bench-

                        85x8
                        Incline Hammer Strength-
                        45sx10

                        Incline Dumbell Flyes-

                        7 sets of 85 pounds

                        That was my chest day today nothing to speical had a FANTASTIC pump my chest is by far my weakest body part and once i start posting more pictures you guys will see that. But I have plenty of time to improve. I've been training for almost 2 years....June will be 2 years. As far as my diet goes...I've had Vasochard with some Waxy Maize in it before i trained at like 2...then i drank my protein drink with WM in it half way into my training then finished it at the end...did 30 mins of cardio 15 on the bike and 15 on some sort of eliptical thing. Got my heart rate up to like 120-130. Finished that then had my tuna and relish. Now im going to have my chicken, rice, and broccoli.

                          Trained Arms today. Pretty good session. Started takin NO Shotgun again. That shit is amazing best NO product ever made. But heres what i did

                          Cable Hi Curls-
                          80x15
                          100x12
                          110x12
                          120x12
                          Decline Skull Crushers supersetted with EZ bar Curls
                          4 sets 65 pounds
                          Preacher curls supersetted with tricep extensions
                          4 sets 70 pounds
                          Rope extensions supersetted with cable curls
                          4 sets 45,55,65,75
                          Single arm rope extensions supersetted with one arm preacher
                          4 sets 55 pounds

                          Nothing to crazy today but i had an incredible pump. Veins are starting to pop out more in the arms and im getting a bit more detail which is pretty cool. Weighed about 208 today. The REAL fun will start tommorow because i start dieting tommorow. YIPEE

                            Trained shoulders today. Woke up about 11 o clock...with a pounding headache cause i slept for like 11 hours. Had my shake then my NO Shotgun. Headed to the gym to train shoulders...It was a decent workout...went for more of a pump today, here's what it looked like.

                            Single cable side laterals-

                            30x6( I can never go heavy on this exercise...i usually just go until it hurts..and it sure did)

                            That was today shoulder workout...so far i've eaten Tuna and relish...then i had some ground chicken and rice....my next meal is gonna be tuna green beans, and probly more rice...Looking forward to next saturday cause thats when the REAL diet starts...today and all this week im cutting back my calories a bit to be prepared for the journey to come.
