i wouldnt drizzle anything at this point, i would either weigh or measure (oils) every time, and why are you adding fats at this point? are they very low or something? peanut butter is the fucking devil in case everyone hasnt figured that out. it's too easy to eat just a little bit more. i dont even keep it in the house during prep.

bro, dont get caught up with what a bunch of people say in this thread. you'll get a million different answers. find one guy with a good reputation to help you out and stick with a plan or you'll be all over the place. and with 8 weeks left you can lose 24 lbs if you think about it, or 21 with 7 weeks left. i was in your exact spot last year, same bodyfat, same amount of weeks out and i quit about 4 weeks out. dont do it if you have your heart in it- i regretted it big time because i went to the show and saw a lot of guys that were not better off than i was! just bust your ass and learn from this. all the guys saying "your behind" doesnt do anything but fuck your head up. i let it get me down in my thread last year, that's why this year i dont have a thread. just keep doing what you are and be proud. this is something the normal folks cant do, it's not an easy lifestyle! keep it up!

why debate where you are? it wont change anything. you are your own man, but i promise you all this is going to do is put doubt in your head. why post pics and get a bunch of shit thrown your way (even if it is honesty from members here, it's still going to be negative from where you are sitting)? just bust your ass and post pics after you show and be proud!

This is question, I don't need a cheat meal, but I have been reading that it may help speed up the metabolism, just wondering if it would be a good idea for me, and if so what should be my cheat meal?

Gorman actually gave you some good advice 22.

Do'nt have a cheat meal right now. I don't think it will help you at this point. If it's going to help you MENTALLY...then torture yourself for a few days (low to no carbs ... low fats - all from EFA's like EVOO or liquid fish oil) and have a cheat meal before bed. Controlled cheat. Then it's back on. But I would advise against it right now.

I can tell i difference in the pics. I would stick w/ HOSS's suggestion not ot cheat. I think for you its gonna pretty much be torture from here on out man. I know thats what im going by at this time. I feel behind at times with my prep, i dont think either of us can afford to cheat this late in the game unless your doing it for obvious reasons to boost the metabolism which i dont know if it si a good idea in your situation..

dont have a cheat meal.. dont be one of those guys who thinks you need to rev up your metabolism.. your behind.. the last thing you need is a cheat.. now what you can do is a refeed...

up your carbs and lower your protien and fat slightly for one day..

I do in fact agree with everyone here, but mainly its because I dont think he has been dieting long or hard enough, and his nutrition knowledge is limited.

That said, Hulk, you make it sound like its all hog wash that a cheat meal will in fact speed up the metabolism. If done correctly sloppy carbs will in fact work.

I dont advise this guy because he is behind and I have no idea what his true diet is.

The trick is, knowing when the proper time.

I can say from experience there is more of a metabolism spark from some "sloppy" carbs than from adding just some clean carbs. To each their own though.

To the OP I see some changes, nice job man.

whats the diffrence between eating sloppy carbs and a refeed??

I just dont think an all out cheat meal of burger, fries and coke are NOT going to do anything for him.. just my opinion..

if u wanna talk about a refeed were is eating a high amount of carbs, while keeping your fat low.. then we are just splitting hairs about whether thats called a refeed or cheat meal..

I would consider something like spaghetti and meatballs w/ cheese or a moderate amount of pizza a cheat meal/refeed, but still in moderation. There is still fats in this, so i think it kinda differs from your definition of a refeed. thats just my thoughts on a refeed, and it may differ from the others here too.

We are probably then splitting hairs for the most part. Ill just leave it at that, because I dont want to confuse the guy.

i dont think having a ton of fat during a refeed/cheat meal is the smartest idea..
