  • Tendons hurt when I do forearm curls.

Is there any way around this? When I do my 25 lb DB forearm curls my tendons kill me. I have to rachet back to 20 lbs... but then I have to do like 20 to even get a burn... Anybody got any suggestions?

Use a barbell and do both flexion (palms down) and extension (palms up) curls on the preacher curl bench with your wrists just over the edge and the forearm stabilized on the preacher bench.

I have the same thing happen only at 20 lbs. instead of 25.

First off make sure your doing them correctly. This site has a good list of exercises and form
          http://exrx.net/Lists/Directory.html

As mentioned above do them slowly and concentrated focusing on the muscle and squeezing.

If the problem continues perhaps look into other forearm exercises

Same problem here. I was told to stick to lighter weights but since it's not an option, I'm gonna work around the pain.
