          • Interesting pattern. Several sets of 30 pounds then right to the 120s...
            You like that better than say:
            30s x 20
            50s x 10
            70s x 10
            90s x 8
            110-120s x working sets

                                I run through those steps for all of my big lifts, rarely miss them nowadays. Your body can only achieve what the mind thinks is capable. I ditch the music for that last big lift too, especially if it's a PB you're shooting for; it can end up being a distraction rather than an aid.
