Well, I've been lurking around these boards and posting infrequently. Decided to get more involved and figured a training journal would be a good place to start.

A little bit about myself: 25 year old male, 192 lbs, bf approximately 15%. I started bodybuilding training in 2008 and found it satisfying at first, but frustrating in the long run as strength gains were hard to come by. I finally switched to powerlifting training this january after reading a ton of Layne Nortons stuff and WOW!!! I love this training. I have a passion for it that I never really had for bodybuilding. I was on a roll until march when I injured an intracostal nerve which put me out of the gym until a few days ago. Man was that a downer. I couldn't train, had no motivation to eat right and lost a lot of size. However, I took advantage of the downtime to read everything I could get my hands on. This led me to Louie Simmons and the Conjugate System. With that, I'll actualy start logging my training.

I expected a loss in strength coming back from injury, but man I wasn't expecting it to be this bad. I have a few days to catch up on here.

Thats where i'm at now. A lot of the movements I was real conservative on due to lack of familiarity and/or seeing where my strength is. Any input or criticism is welcome because while I have read a ton about this program, I am quite lacking in actual experience with it.
