That is some insane, brutal leg session. Love it.
Appreciate that shit !!
Better session then Ive had in a while, reps wise. Bone and knee pain not too bad either. Still I restrained myself from adding anymore weight. Sometimes the rest is good these days. In the past I lost massive size and strength from any time off. One week meant atleast 2 months to get back it seemed. Meabolism burned everything up. From my late twenties, to now 30, my metabolism has slowed majorly. Which is a huge advantage now. Even when I dont get in all my meals and training Im able to maintain much easier now.
Thats a strong bench you have. I dont remember being at double bodyweight bench until I was 185 benching 370 and then upward from there. Probably was at double for a while though. Sounds like youd be at 400 by the time you hit 200 with that kind of strength.
KEEP KILLIN THAT SHIT!!

Yea bench was always a lift that dropped rapidly for me as well. Was always a weak point compared to my strong points like back. When I started couldnt bench 45 lb bar without assistance at 14. Your goals are to increase strength at same weight, or looking to expand? Im too obsessive, compulsive to settle for anything less in training, thats my ultimate downfall. Cant stop and when out of training the mental demons are ten times worse. Levels me out more . The obsession will eat at me relentlessly. Make me completely insane. Much easier to train brutal then ignore it.

My goals? Increase strength, increase bodyweight, get bigger and tear things up in the gym. Consistency and mental focus will bring these to me, I have no doubt.
Powerlifting meets are on the cards for this year, i don't give a shit if they laugh at me when I walk in. As long as they respect me when I walk back out.

Could use more volume but mostly maintenance for now. Leg extentions down the stack , dropsets, would have been incluided in the past, but this gym the leg extentions cause knee pain over muscle pain. The other gym has much better machines for that.
Before Id do leg extentions with only brief rest pauses down the stack. Start with the stack (250-300 depending on machine) for 50 reps, then down 10 lbs to failure, down another 10, down another 10, etc. To the bottom of the stack , every set to failure, some beyond with rest pauses to lengthen the pain. Rest pauses are usually not longer then 20 seconds I estimate. Really tears the shit out of the quads. Compliments the heavy pressing. I avoid anything that puts weight on my back due to all the disk ruptures. Its the type of exercise where you can really focus on maximising your pain , rather then the weight used. By the end it might be over 200 reps. Im trying to get more into that mindset now so I can use less weight and last longer training. Still my old ways resurface.

Still out of comission mainly. Taking a long rest. Dont see the point in fucking up the joints ,nerve damage more now. Just to maintain at my current size. Would rather take a hit on my size and strength now, get it over with, do what I got to do to recover. Then I can come back much larger and stronger at some point.
Xrays showed jagged edges on both elbows. Doc thinks its small bone spurs. Said that might be whats causing the numbness in the hands and elbow inflammation. Not sure what the treatment is for that. I know surgery is one option but need to get an EKG or EMG whatever the fuck its called, nerve scan and see whats going on more. Do that on the 15th
