Glad to get in there and do some shit. While my strength wasnt way off from last week, just felt shitty. Joints felt ok, did some anti inflammatories last week. My upper back was tight as hell in the ruptured disk area from getting it cracked. So some pain there. Just didnt feel like I could get under the weight as agressively and wasnt feelin it when I got in there. Strength is slowly creeping back up to where it was, but now my main focus should be size. Easily get side tracked with lifting heavier and heavier. Soon I think itll be time to focus on inclines first in the routine for a while. Just avoid the freeweight version lately because requires a spotter for me to get a lift off. Otherwise rotating the shit forward fucks with my rotators with the heavy weight. Upper chest still flat as fuck from my recent 6 month on and off training.
I started a cycle on may first. It ends in late july or august. The first month it helped me gain 10 lbs and get alot of what I lost back. This month ive had some setbacks and no new weight gains. Possibly got a little leaner so its hard to tell. Thats why I guage progress by measurements and not purely bodyweight.
