They all run through me to some extent. Energy drinks and coffee and general will speed up my digestion but pre workout stim powders will really speed shit up. Right now Im using super pump but its too weak for me at the moment. I take 1 and half scoops and follow it up with a speedshot on my heavier days while training. No xplode gives 50 servings and lasts longer but is still too weak for me. If I overload on stims I just get dizzy so they are not super effective for me anymore. Its mostly mental at this point for me.

At this point I just know after I take it I will need to take one or two shits after, within 20-30 mins, then Im ready to leave. Luckily it doesnt run through me all day, just initially.

Hit some more PRs today. Overhead shoulder press 540x6 and 560x2 1/2 and iso lateral hammerstrength 270x40, Ill post up some vids

                  • These pre workout stims have big amounts of magnesium. This may be leading to your multiple bowels. Combined with caffeine. well... you are going to sit on the throne! These days I rely on Starbucks Espresso and I'm good. Are you considering trying the all-you-can-eat buffets again? Like I mentioned, your upper body size is phenomenal. No doubt, the heavy training is the culprit. What's you goal regarding size??

Agreed. Magnesium definately has that effect. I understand your anxiousness to experiment with all the different products out there, as Ive done plenty of that in the past. The only supplements I consider staples are beta alanine (5 grams on training days), creatine, and caffiene. I dont take creatine or alanine seperately anymore because of these acid issues at the moment. I would if it wasnt so detrimental to my diet at the moment. So I eat mostly whole foods and no shakes. Some soymilk though.

I havent been to a buffet in some months. Occasionally I will. It used to be multiple times a week. For the first time as Im 32 now, my metabolism has gotten MUCH slower. 250 used to be a fantasy and I didnt care how I got there. Starting at like 105-115 (I estimate) with a super fast metabolism and super slow progress. Now 250 is very obtainable, but after hitting a sloppy 242 I wasnt interested in merely hitting a number on the scale. Right now im in the low 220's and arms are only 1/4 inch off from my best at 242, and back is 52 which is 1 and quarter inch off from best at that weight, legs down two inches. However I attribute some of that measurement definately to carrying more fat. My measurement around navel was 5 or more inches bigger and my waist line measurement was 3 inches bigger. So it benefits me more now to eat cleaner smaller meals. For better digestion and to avoid excess bodyfat.

My long term goals have always been unobtainable since they have no limit. 22-23 inch arms was an original long term goal from the beginning. Sixty inch chest is another one of mine. I dont limit myself to any numbers though. I just KILL SHIT feed it and see what happens. I may be injured severely or dead so I have no plan. Im thankful that I can do this shit again after my 2 years out. It changed my perspective. Feeling somewhat super human and then feeling human again, losing all of my muscle and identity, was a severe mind fuck. It didnt look like I would find my way back into training again. After clawing my way back and exceeding my previous peak I just take shit moment by moment.

I have short term goals though always. For this year I would like to hit 20 inch arms cold, 55 inch chest, 30 inch legs (if I can train them properly). If I hit 19 1/2 at a leaner weight (which I am very close to right now) or 19 3/4 without carrying too much fat then that will be progress too. I always set my short term goals higher so that if I fail I still have gained alot. Same when I go for records in the gym. I set a mental number often 5 reps higher then what I need for a record.

Today I am hitting some chest. I am looking to maintain for the next 2 months or so. So PRs will be less frequent. I am also trying bench press again and seeing how my wrist handles it. I will try to build it back up and see if I can get it back into my routine consistantly. Maybe some db presses too. Changing shit up during this phase. Then bulk again in maybe 2 months. Less rest between sets now since I just want to get blood in my muscle and maintain while letting joints heal somewhat

                      KILLLLL THAT SHIT

                        • Beast, your shoulders are insane. Any vids with you doing laterals?? Laterals are king for delt width, and the poundages you are using is crazy.

Another point.... I've been having great success with digestion problems using a digestive enzyme with each meal, along with having a fermented veggie, like kimchi or sauerkraut 5 minutes before eating. John Meadows knows his stuff. This also allows you to eat more food. Win-Win. No GI pain.

                          Thanks for all your video's!

                            Appreciate that shit!

Glad you get something out of them. There probably wont be alot of PRs again until maybe march. That is most likely when Ill start another growth phase.

I have a video from a few years ago that was never digitised. It shows the old dropset I used to do regularly at the time on laterals

                            100x10
                            90x10
                            80x10
                            70x10
                            60x10
                            50x10
                            45x10

It was taken on an old camcorder so it has to be converted to digital. I still havent even viewed the video. I will dfefinately post up clips from that session when I get it transferred. I can try to get some lateral video next time as well. The phone would be set low and at an angle so it wouldnt be the best position but Ill try to get something soon.

It would be good to post up just to illustrate my unique form on laterals which is a hybrid movement you could say. I adjusted the movement to hit traps heavily as well as the side delts and to be able to use as much weight as possible to really overload the shit. This was at a time when I had to get creative. I was just getting back from a 2 year layoff after my first two ruptured disks. I could not put any vertical force on my disks for a while, so shoulder presses had to be avoided. I couldnt shrug for the same reason. So I developed this style and gradually kept using more and more weight and then eventually made it into a regular dropset that I would repeat several times during each delt workout at the time. I dont go that heavy now because they are hard as hell on my wrists and shoulder joints, but I am still getting some stimulation in my traps and side delts. My traps competely shrunk from not doing these or any direct trap work, so Im trying to get some blood back into them.

Sounds good. Digestive enzymes definately work. I never did them consistantly but they did help. I havent tried fermented vegetables but soon I plan to eat vegetables which I never do. I will be cooking real food soon which should improve the quality of my gains and my ability to get more food down, and thus grow further

Thanks again for the support of this journal
