Those hack squats were fuckin strong though brother!! With my fuckin back I wont even try anything that puts pressure on my spine. Im basically stuck on the leg presses as my main leg exercise. Not a huge problem though cuz leg press has been my main leg exercise always. My structure never felt right for squatting. Ive built a high endurance for them over the years from constantly pushing the reps. There is some slow walking during the training, but now on the next day I hardly feel anything in my legs at all. Takes so much fucking abuse for me to get them sore at all, just like everything else. I only did 4 sets though, but even on my higher volume days they have not been getting very sore at all. Its good to be hitting the deep reps again though. Now I feel my entire leg gettin hit

When I hit 80 reps a few weeks ago the reps were very partial, cuz of all the knee strain. So I went back to full depth and working back up.

      Its one straight set.

Damn beast, that's a freaking insane amount of reps. Your workouts are always high volume, but this is just off the charts!

Volume has been a good deal lower then usual lately, but intensity is as high as ever.

My leg routines used to make me vomit or dry heave very consistantly on a weekly basis. Lately I dont even get nauseous. So I think that the leg routines arent back to where they used to be. Though the leg size is back. Im working on getting the depth back now on the presses, then when Im back in growth mode I can add more volume for the legs.

Im in more of a strength phase at the moment. Alot of other shit going on, meals not optimal lately, and only light supplement use.

Ill keep atleast in the low 200's, and when its time for me to shift into growth mode again Ill have a better and stronger base to expand on. Refining whats there is not too bad either. Thats how Ive always gotten stronger and been light, part of the reason. The rest is just fuckin insanity and extreme rage, tapping adrenaline. Being at the same fucking weight for very long periods of time also has the effect of maximising strength though too.

Really my goal now is size, since Ive always had way more strength then I should. The strength is just gonna multiply a huge amount with any size gain I make. If i make any size gains while in this strength phase, all the better.

        • 10-19-09 Monday Back and Hamstrings

Was going to do more backwork, but biceps tendons were feeling the strain. Get a very full look and pump off of these animal pack "Pump" pills though. Got them as a sample. They seem pretty decent for pump.

          :

          (200 lbs after meal)

          Wide Grip Chin Ups:

          30
          31
          17
          16
          15
          15

          Lat Pulldowns:

          210x40 (warm up and PR)
          300x13
325x11-13 (25 lb plate pinned on stack)
345x10 (45 lb plate pinned on stack)
          345x8
          345x7
          325x10
          325x7
          300x8

(Biceps tendons pretty sore by this point)

          Leg Curls:

          125x25
          170x10
          155x10
          140x15
          140x11

          • Great back workout! Always insane weights and reps! I can never do chin ups and I gave up on it a long time ago. Everytime I do them my biceps get strain or something.

              Appreciate that shit!!

I have to do them overhanded. Underhand is way too much strain on my biceps.

I tried both way and it seems I get hurt from doing them. I know it's a great lat builder but it sucks for me. I used to love it when I was in high school. Must be old age I guess. lol

Know what you mean. my training now is extremely adaptive. Im constantly switching exercises and angles because of strains, injuries. Also some days I feel a better contraction on certain exercises, or strong on something. So Ill take advantage of that and hit records. Even my splits change now.

Usually after the first two sets my reps go down to about half. Unless I take a real long rest.

Even though its alot of reps, I feel a real good contraction during chin ups. Should probably go back to the weighted version.

                              • those chin ups are great, for some reason I can't seem to ever get more than 3 or 5 without having assist.
