Chest
234 Lbs
Incline 10x185 8x205,6x225+1 Forced
Flat Bench 12x135, 12x135 12x135
DB Flyes 12x30, 12x40, 10x50
Interesting session today. I was suprized today that I was able to move as much weight as I did on inclines today. After my elbows being hurt in Feb and my Back injury last month and been sick for the last week and not eating very much food due to lack of appetite, I was very suprized. I didn't do anything crazy either. Still getting over this cold shit.
And I want to get back into benching again. Not to see how much I can press (Fuck that- I'm no PLer), but I know that flat is a valuable exercise. I used light weight today and was still able to get a great pump. And I haven't Benched since 2008 (when I hurt my shoulder benching 250). It was kind of awkward and strange but what can you expect after not doing an exercise in years? I don't plan on using flat as a first exercise.
Still got the running clogged nose and a little cough but I had to get back into the shit. Not Everything. Not Yet.

Sorry you are sick.
When I get a spring cold, it is usually allergy related. When I notice I have the beginnings of one, I wash my sinuses with a saline solution of warm water (you can buy special bottles for this and use regular table salt), it helps clear that out, and helps me prevent the head cold / allergies from spreading to my chest. When doing this, it is important to avoid forcing water into your ear canals. If you feel the water going into your ears, let up on the pressure or stop altogether.
It works nice and is real easy and takes only a minute to do.
I usually make the solution heavily salted to the taste, but not so salty it hurts.
I read a NYT article recently, that if you think you are getting a cold, to gargle with salt water, and that will help fight the germs.
Easy stuff, with good results.
Hope you feel better soon.

Congrats on doing Bench. I am impressed that you obviously have gotten good results despite no flat bench for 3 years!
What's happening now?
