sorry to hear Austin's funeral was a cluster f...it's quite sad when ppl cannot put aside their issues to respect and celebrate a life that unfortunately was cut short.

They had the funeral. They cremated him which he wanted.

Austin wasn't religious. They had a religious ceremony. He didn't want to be buried. They blame me and Lori, his cool aunt and cool uncle for his death. They uninvited us to the funeral. Which I was ok with. Indidnt want to see the people that treated him like shit fake "loss". My son went though. He was invited. They made the funeral about them and their loss and not about Austin! I thought that if I went, it would have taken even more away from him cuz he parent would have got all bitchy. So my family and his aunt and uncle went to his grave later in the day when no one was there to see him. Much better I think.


It's a nice place but just not where he wanted to be forever! He wanted to be spread in the carribbean. No, he is in a hole in the ground in Tri Cities Washington. Fuck that! His parents took the easy cheap way out.

Dude, you're better off having not gone to the service. You did what was right for Austin and that is all that matters. The majority of people in this world unfortunately are selfish, self-involved, entitled scumbags who only care about themselves. Sounds like the birth parents fit into this category and I would expect nothing less than what occurred from these people. Their reckoning will come one day...it's in God's hands man.
