    I wanted to give 250 x5 another go but my right knee was bugging me and not having any of it so I just singled up. I was pleasantly surprised with this. It's not 300 but I will take it for now.

        So I am starting to think that all the volume with squats and pulls is giving me a bit of dead legs, there isn't much wrong with my pull there is just no pop. Here's to hoping my legs come back soon.

          Had a massage before practice, got my back, hamstrings, calves worked on. Feels good to not walk around like Frankenstein.

          Shoulder is a little stiff and sore so I had the chiro work his magic and did lots of stretching after practice. Just another day. On a side note Step Brothers is on and if you don't like that movie you don't like 'Murica.

            Snatches felt good, stayed back well on these. C&J were so so, my jerk is feeling better than it ever has but my timing on the cleans is still a little off. Getting better but still off.

            Evertyhing felt good, patellar tendon on my lead leg is a bit sore so I cut it after my 3rd miss. Arnold is coming quick.

              Snatch was weird, my pull felt GREAT just kept leaving them out in front. C&J are getting better with timing. My jerk is really coming along and I feel like what ever I can stand up with I will be able to make the jerk. Two more days of moderate lifting and we are traveling Thursday and a light day Friday then game time.

                  Snatch really pissed me off, I just wasn't finishing. I then dropped down and did powers and when I worked back up the lifts were stupid easy. I have been power jerking the past few days simply because I still have a bit of jumpers knee and saving the wear and tear from splitting. All done now and heading to the Arnold. See you there.

                  • Arnold was fun, pretty much made openers and was ready for bed after that (137/182). We didn't start till 9:30 so I was pooped. Saw Matt V. and the guys at the field and was a good time. I didn't think Craig could look any bigger until he puts on a puffy coat. Had Monday off then back to work. I sat down with Glenn and we talked somethings out and made some changes to the program leading up to nationals and I think it will pay off. This we are just moving around getting ready for another go-round.

                      Stretched and got blood flowing, BOOM! Then sat and made fun of the others as they tried to see how high they could box jump. Stupid youngin's. Then heard some Whitney Houston blasting in the warehouse and gave a moment of silence for crack heads. Good stuff.


                      P.S I love Easter time because four packs of Cadbury Eggs are on sale (the original not the caramel ones, grow a pair and eat the originals) and they make a great post workout snack with a glass of milk...just saying.

                              Pull and finish on my snatches was good, cleans were eh as usual and played around with my grip a bit on the jerk, and back squats were surprisingly good. Bounced right out of the hole on all of these and felt strong. Good stuff.
