Cool to see you back here.
Did Layne customize this program for you or did you pick it up off his article?
Hey. No layne did not customize it. I did. I used the basic principles of PHAT-power days, hypertrophy days with some auxiliary movements and
such, I just threw is some different exercises to accommodate my goals.

Thanks man....to be honest, I was originally just going to use the bar....but it was high carb day, I ate a shit ton off food only 45 mins before working out and felt like I was going to throw up after squats, so I went straight for the DB's. I am all about using the DBs for those, and like I said, I felt like puking and racking another bar wouldnt have helped this.

Thanks BBOY, nothin too crazy on the leg work, but enough to get the job done. Arm lookin solid in the avi. Hope all is well.
But still, good mix of everything. That's exactly what I like...mt. climbers and bench hops are some of my new favorites. I appreciate the kind words man...it wasn't too long ago everyone in here had the same avatar. Everything is going well. Just graduated the 20th...so you know how that goes. Applying for jobs all over the place. I'm taking a 1st Aid/CPR/AED class next week and looking into getting ACSM certified in personal training and also I need to take the GRE. I'm thinking along the lines of Kinesiology/Exercise Science for grad school. I've got a couple of schools in mind. I've been calling around to see if I can apply at anytime or if I'll have to wait until the next school year. I think I have a decent shot (according to most of their sites and the bachelor's degrees they accept). Anyways, we'll see where it goes. I'll be around still working at the rec center and bringing in some income while I look for jobs and figure out what I want to do. It's been awesome...all the young ladies are back from spring break and they're all super tan.
Dude, I have been 1st aid/CPR/AED certified 6 times and everytime CPR is a different Tempo. The last time, the instructor commented on how Yeah it different every 2 years but when YOU are in a situation where you need to give CPR, your training will kick in and you'll remember... which one.

Good for you man. I looked into exercise science at one point and was very interested in it....the only caveat I saw with a post-grad degree in that or excerise physiology is that there are a lack of jobs once you're done. The only positions that people with that degree said they could really get once immediately graduating was research work. Although in some circumstances cardiopulmonary depts of hospitals look for exercise phys's for rehab programs for pt's. Or, if you were into the strength coach route, you could become a grad asst for the strength and conditioning program of that university and try to find a strength coach position once you're done--which is what I was interested in....but there is a lot of travel/relocating associated with that route. What kind of jobs are you interested in doing. OSU has a Master's excerise science program. What about physical thereapy?? Lots of opportunites post-graduating and good money. Once I take my MRI boards, I want to look into getting a CSCS cert. We'll see though.

I don't mean to rain on your parade,BBOY----i did a bit of research on it myself and the majority of ppl with that post-grad degree said finding a job was very difficult. Congrats on graduating!

Yeah, it seems like it's tailored to go on and pursure a PhD. I'm looking into physical therapy as well. That would be pretty cool as well. If it's too competitive and I get excluded, I would look into Kinesiology. I'm just worried they'll be looking for recent graduates with degrees in exercise science or physical therapy and discredit other degrees.

Lol, thanks man. I'm figuring if you're not engineering or computer science of some sort, it will probably take a while to find a job. It's alright though, I have a while to figure it out.
