I think I can help answer that...the clean and jerk is geared more towards delts if anything else. Chest doesn't play much of a role in that exercise.

      • Hey Eric,
basic question what part of the chest do you lower the bar to when performing the bench press for chest and where do you lower the bar when performing the close grip bench press for triceps.

        • Dear Eric, I have just incurred an injury caused prolly by overtraining

After resting I want to pick up with FD/FS but how can I mix kettlebells in as a worm up, cardio circut etc.??

I also do martial arts, swimming and lots of cardio.

If doing a bench press I personally lower the bar to about a level just above my nipples, and for CG BP right under my nipples.

Hmmmm, not sure if FDFS would be a good fit with all of that other stuff bro. FDFS is a pure hypertrophy-blitz program and requires plenty of rest just from those workouts alone.

If you REALLY want to rip fat off of you then commit to at least 60 minutes per day.

Not so much diminishing returns on fat loss as much as too much loss in lean tissue as well.

So doing kettlebell drills and circuits for fat loss as a HIIT routine would not fly, also martial arts and cardio is technically a negative for this program.

I want to use FDFS since I pinched a nerve in my spine left buttock and need a good program once I recover I thought FDFS would be a little bit more "athletic" does conducive to other activity than say DC

Well, there is no reason you can't use FDFS. However, since I designed it as a "mass/weight gaining protocol," you would simply have to expect different types of results from it. The gains would be slower as far as muscle than when someone is in a pure mass building phase.

Will 45 minutes twice a day suffice to rip the fat off the bones?
