hey eric,
thanks for taking time for our questions!!
my question is kind of on the same page as katina's. Im 23 almost 24 years young and i was a coffee fat burner junkie. Even at around 1100 mg of caffeine i would not feel a buzz...
I stopped drinking coffee December 20th and stopped with fat burners December 10th.
How long does it take the body to "reset its self". i wanted to start an ECA stack febuary 1st for 4 weeks then nothing again for a month. Before the supplents did not work for what i wanted it to work for (to help dry me out/burn fat) just because of my coffee problem.
Do you think i gave my self enough time?
also how should you cycle fat burners/coffee?
this prob does not make sense im a little sleepy!
but thank you!!

This is almost an impossible question to answer exactly, as there are differing levels of adrenal burnout that can occur. For some, the ability to start responding to stimulants again can take just a couple of months, however, in severe cases it can take a couple of YEARS. It depends on how badly you "abused" yourself with stims (amounts and time period) and of course your genetic ability to recover.
I would plan on taking minimum 3-6 full months off of ANY kind of stimulant and to cycle stimulants for no more than 12 weeks at a time.
Once you have reset yourself it is a good practice to use stims in a 1:1 cycle ratio, meaning 8-12 weeks on and 8-12 weeks off.
I myself do not drink coffee or soda with caffeine on a regular basis and I reserve the use of stims only to the times of year that I am cutting.

thanks eric!
But several years!!! oh man!
ill give the 8 on 8 off cycle a shot!
okay i kinda have another question. (i do a lot of reading so im always filled with questions haha)
What is your opinion on a Soy protein? I was given a product to test and log about...and its soy based. I associate soy with estrogen and estrogen is a very very bad word.
How do you feel about a woman using soy protein powder? Whats going to happen to me? Am i going to diejust kidding. Is it going to make me girly?!?!?
thanks eric!

I'm adding a couple supps to the line up only because I already have them and I think they can only help; ALCAR, and ALA as well as Leucine.
I know both ALCAR and ALA have antioxident qualities and I was wondering if I still need to take a AO like Radox? I already have the Radox but if the AO qualities from ALCAR and ALA will be sufficient, I'll return the Radox... What do you think???

Benefits of soy protein:
-promotes heart health
-promotes healthy bones
-helps to prevent some forms of cancer
-helpful at alleviating menopausal symptoms
Soy beans contain high amounts of protein, including all essential amino acids (the only such vegetable source).
No, it won't make you a girly girl, LOL. Studies have conflicted as to whether soy can lower testosterone levels, and in my opinion, when used in small amounts each day (25-50 grams) it should not do so.
It is a solid protein source and is pretty fast acting. Still, I feel that for bodybuilding purposes, whey is better.
