  • Looking For Good Cheap Protein Powder

Normally I use all whole food and no shakes, but acid issues with throat has caused me to have to change shit up and maybe do half of my nutrition in liquid form. Milk and shakes. Im looking to use 6 scoops a day so is there any giant containers out there that mix well and taste decent. Muscle Milk was a staple for me when I used regular shakes but Im looking for something I can get in bulk since I would be using alot. I want to get atleast 100 grams of protein from the shakes, then some liquid aminos and milk, and whatever else I consume.

Havent kept up with that shit in a while

No no, my friend, lol. All protein is not created equal. The 5lb value jug is filled with hair protein (collagen) or extra glutamine to pass the nitrogen test. Pay the extra money, get a quality product. Very much worth it.

True Nutrition and Protein Factory are the only sources I really trust for protein. Just go buy hydrolyzed (supposedly) protein from GNC, then buy some hydrowhey or peptopro (whey or casein hydrolysate) and taste the difference....trust me, you will know! True protein hydrolysates taste like CRAP!!!! And there's nothing you can do to mask it.
If you want to bulk, hydrolysate is money, because the protein is broken down into di- and tri-peptides, and they absorb very fast into the bloodstream - plus the high leucine content (the most important amino acid for hypertrophy since it activates the m-TOR pathway which is conducive to skeletal muscle growth) will help your body to release more insulin without needing as many carbs, as well as adequate protein synthesis.
When it comes to supplements, especially protein, you get what you pay for. The price you pay since supplements are not FDA regulated (so be careful who you trust!!!)
