  • Unbearable Pump (no, not back or shin pumps)

This has been going on for a few months now and shows no signs of improvement. It happens whether im on (currently 1g test e/wk) or even just cruising (200 mg test e/wk). Im getting such a rediculous pump so fast that its impairing my workouts. Three sets in and im musclebound. Cant reach my face. Cant even take my headphones out. If i try i get a sudden sharp pain in in my bi, tri, or chest and it feels as if a muscle is about to rip. But i push onward, and do what i can although im very limited as to whatexercises i can do once im hit with this immobilizing pump. This is different from tren cramps which i have experienced before. Anyone else ever have this problem? Stretching and foam rolling helps a little but not much. Maybe nit getting enough potassium? This is beyond aggrevating.

Jeez brother I feel bad for you and honest to God don't know what to tell you maybe you can try and take dose of Sodium Bicarbonate with some fruit juice 20 minutes before your workouts or some sort of Lactic Acid Buffers I believe there some supplements products on the market that do this or better yet do a Google Search and look into this I hope this helps you out bro good luck and God bless.

Thanks for the tip. Im doing some reading on sodium bicarbonate and im going to try taking a few small doses of baking soda a day and see how that goes. If that doesnt work ill probably just have to come off and end up losing most my gains which is not want i want to do.

Sorry it took so long to reply. I started using the baking soda pre workout and in a few days i did notice some improvement but the problem is still present and i still have to do a lot of stretching before and during my workouts. Forget after, its not possible. The thing that worries me is the idea of my kidneys not making enough sodium bicarbonite on their own. So a month later im still having issues so i had to scrap my plans of crusing and came totally off and currently running pct. Taking 2-3 months off gear in hopes that the issue im having wont be an issue when i jump back on. This really sucks, im afraid im gonna lose all the size and atrength that i gained over the past year cruising in between cycles. Its such a mindfuck pushing yourself in the gym only to fall ahort and literally progress backwards. Just got to try and not think about it.

Find a pain killer you can workout on... Most pros do.

Tramadol HCL (50 mg tablets) have worked very well for me, for training pains and getting into a nice fucking zone. Experiences tend to vary alot with tramadol. Some people hate it. I use 50 mgs daily mostly to calm some of the mental warfare daily. For two of my heavier sessions Ill use 100 mgs pre workout with my stims.

I dont have your issue , so I cant say if it will help. If the pain is meaningless then blocking it out wont be an issue. If its the type of pain that is showing a more serious issue then youd want to acknowledge it in some way. The difficult part can be determining which pain signals to listen to and which to ignore. Especially when involving nerve pain.

My chest does get very tender , almost like its going to cramp during training sometimes. I notice my joints and everything feels better preworkout on the 100 mgs tramadol. I see people going very high dose with painkillers and getting addicted. So unless you have a strong enough mindset you might not want to fuck with them. Everyone is different.

I mention the tramadol because its generally very easy to get and not considered narcotic, even though I find the euphoria and painkilling stronger than vicodin or percocet

Also, you may have tried this but you might want to train heavier, lower rep, and take long breaks between sets. As much as you need. Fast moving , pump, bodybuilder style may be pumping too much blood into your chest. Maybe go back to that style later if desired.

Thanks for the input. Ill keep your advice about painkillers in mind but i dont think its a type of pain that should be ignored. I can tolerate pain but this is a pump that pretty mich immbolizes me. I know its weird and seems unheard of with anyone ive mentioned this to. Its been three weeks now since i totally came off and the problem is no longer present. So im left wondering is it something in my gear? Or maybe two high of a white blood cell count? Will have to wait and see what happens when i jump back on in two months.

Seems to be the case when you push your body to the limits. Often times weird shit comes up and its very difficult to get any answers. Sounds like it may have had something to do with your cycle.

If you were running multiple compounds then you might want to try testing one at a time until you duplicate that effect. Otherwise there would be no way to pinpoint whats causing it. It sounds like a huge nuissance

Get off and donate blood. Sounds like your red cells are really really high. BP is probably high too.

I have to agree with this. More than likely its your red count high, not your white count [lets hope its not a high white count]. Also agree BP could be getting high as well.

Thank you everyone for all the insight. The problems began about 7 weeks into a 12 week test prop/tren ace/dbol cycle. I ran dbol the first 5 weeks at 50mg/day. The tren and test both at 525mg/wk.

After the cycle i cruised on 200 mg of test e/wk for a month. I thought the problems would subside during this cruise but they did not. I tried taking baking soda preworkout and it did help me enough that i was able to do flyes and dips again but i still had issues (cant bend my arm enough to reach my face, cant take my shirt off, etc) so after a few weeks i gave up on the baking soda.

After about a month of cruising on 200 mg/wk i got back on a heavy dose of test e (1g/wk) with dbol 50mg/day for the first five weeks. After 12 weeks i finally came off completely. I am currently in my 4th and final week of pct (nolva, clomid, & arimidex). I also ran arimidex during the course of my last cycle, 0.5mg eod. Since coming off the problems have ended. I still get a great pump, but no feeling like im going to tear a muscle right off the bone anymore. That was miserable and scary as fuck.

I initially thought this was because of high blood pressure but i checked it several times and it was in normal range. I honestly think now that the problem was too many red blood cells. If this were the case what could i have done to lower my red blood cell count?

Also since coming off my cardiovascular endurance took a major dip. Gasping for breath after every set. Im spending the next two months focusing on my health, eating very clean and doing plenty of cardio. Things i should have been doing in the first place.
