  • Acne on cycle

    So, I'm at the 9th week of my cycle (12 weeks total): test+diana(4weeks)+deca.
    24 y.o.

    Got some acne on my back and on my chest from the previous cycle, after the pct it was going away then I started this second cycle and my back broke out again, chest too (shoulders just a little bit).
    Now, I'm a little concerned if I've to take off my shirt, even to show my progress (anyway my acne isn't that bad, just on the back is somewhat bad)... I'd like to take Accutane, 20mg ed/eod to see if I can get back "clear" on my back...

    I'm on vit b5+zinc+nac+milk thistle, also i take 0.25mg Arimidex EOD to control estrogen levels, but nothing seems to work... tried tanning (I have already a "dark" skin color, I'm italian) seemed to help a little bit but I'm concerned about using it too many times, since it's not that good for the skin (also, I don't like being tanned all year long).
    How's that every IFBB pro haven't got acne?! I think they all used accutane and some of them just have good genetics... anyway

    Would you suggest to end the cycle, then start Accutane before and during PCT (20mg ed/eod?);
    or would you suggest to start Accutane right after the PCT?

    You can take accutane on cycle. 20mg is a very reasonable dosage and you're not taking a heavy cycle of hepatoxic orals so your liver will be just fine. Go see a dermatologist and get yourself a script. Drink plenty of water and take something for liver support if you feel the need, but there's no need to wait to take it.

      When I was on accutane, they wanted to do monthly blood draws. I know one of the reason was to make sure "I" was actually taking the script, but I do wonder what else they are looking for in these tests?

        I'm sick of waiting for these pimples to go away, so i'll give this a try 20mg ed, but for how long?
        Reading everywhere can't find an answer..

          For me, the acne got worse for a period of time when taking the accutane because it flushed it all out......then it dried the shit out of my skin. I thought the prescription was for ~4-6 months, but I actually couldn't finish it because of how severely dry my skin was. I hope it reacts better to you

            They were monitoring your liver enzymes and lipids.

            The doc will give you a script. Usually for a few months.

              I think I'll get it without prescription btw...20mg ed until it disappears (just to be sure, I'll take it some weeks after my skin is clean)... should be good?
