Today marks day 25 of 30 for the cycle. I haven't trained since last Thursday and this week will be a "deload" week. As we all know, training and dieting during the holidays is challenging but I managed to eat fairly clean on Christmas Eve/Day and back on track today diet wise. I'll make sure to do a full recap and review of the cycle next week.

MRI results on my shoulder are in...I have a "laminar tear without retraction involving the supraspinatus tendon, subacromial and subdeltoid fluid". Woe is me...

HALO/Deca-drol notes: The muscle pumps I have been achieving with little no training is nothing short of amazing. I've actually been going lighter with the weights because the pump is actually TOO painful! The very same thing occurred when I was on injectable nandrolone decanoate during my first cycle when I was 22 (10 years ago). I definitely don't have the strength that i had on the injectable but the pumps with the HALO/Deca-drol are almost identical. I can't complain either with how I look right now despite training with the shoulder injury. VERY happy with these compounds in this aspect.

Same thing with my shoulder. Your acromion is pinching your spraspinatus thus causing the tearing (and pain). This could be due to growth of the acromion bone itself or tendinitis.

Your athropod will likely send you to PT and they will make you do rotator cuff exercises for a while to see if that alleviates the problem. The only other non-surgical option would be to take a month off from performing any exercise that uses your arms/shoulders. So pretty much just leg presses/hacks/extensions/curls/calves. That helped one of my shoulders after I took a month off following surgery for this on my other shoulder. However, the surgically repaired shoulder now feels 100% whereas the non-surgically repaired shoulder does not - it is better but still feel some pain.

IMO if I were you I'd just get the surgery done. It is easy and you'll be out of the gym for four weeks but by eight weeks you should be 100% back to where you were before. Here is a good link that discusses subacromial impingement: http://www.ortho-md.com/subacromial%20decompression.htm

Cycle notes: Saw some photos taken of me over the holiday weekend and noticed my face as appearing a little puffy/bloated. Not sure if this is from the HALO/Deca-drol or from drinking beer and wine for the holiday festivities. Either way, I did not like it one bit. Hopefully my face will thin back out quickly...I tend to hold water weight in my face so this could also be the case.

probably a little combo of both. Alcohol makes me look great the morning after but then once I re-hydrate I look like fucking whale

I tend to have a varying level of allergic reaction to alcohol thus the puffiness of the face. I really don't drink much these days but i did have quite a few beers and wines on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
