  • dim/diim?

    I rememer coming across a thread on a forum where a trainer stated he's had good experience with his female clients combining dim & dhea. Now, of course, I can't seem to remember which site I was on and the role that dim plays. Can anyone post a link to this or help me out?

    If you want solid advise, i would recommend asking Mike Arnold, Heavy Iron, Pantera, or brundel among a few others.

    What are you looking to achieve by taking stated compounds?

      I know what you are talking about. It's a hormone regulator, specifically for oestrogen imbalance.

      Full name is Diindolylmethane, which is a phytonutrient found in vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage. Unlike other plant nutrients such as soy isoflavones, diindolylmethane has unique hormonal benefits as it supports the activity of enzymes that improve oestrogen metabolism within the liver. Besides Diindolylmethane (DIM), its' natural precursor Indole-3-carbinol (I3C) is also present in cruciferous vegetables. I3C was the cruciferous indole first sold as a dietary supplement a few years back.

      Nature's Way make a good one, should be able to find it in most good health/supplement stores
