  • I posted this on getbig in response to being "natural" and figured I would update here.

    These are from 9 weeks out, taken 5-7-11

    (I think I look much better in the one where I'm making a weird face (taken about a minute before the second one) just by how I'm posing. Funny how sometimes posing can make such a big difference).

    • I've gotten questions here before about measurements, and I very very rarely take them, but I took some quick ones today (without even taking my shirt off), and here are some rough measurements, for all the times i said "i have no idea":

      arm flexed 17 ish inches, 24-25 inch thighs, 31-32 inch waist and chest (under armpit) around 45 inches

          • Awesome, agree that your waist in comparison to the rest of you seems smaller then what your measurements imply or I could say the same about your chest/back in comparison to your waist appear bigger than your measurements.

            On a side note, where do you place your hands while doing lying triceps extension? Just curious as you hear of so many people complaining about elbows hurting, etc. which is why I hold it a bit wider then the norm on the e-z bar but was wondering if maybe this is not as beneficial overall in development.

              Tim is right, bodybuilding is not just about reality (how big you actually are; if it were I'd be screwed cause I'm really not that big), but also the illusion you can create.

                I dont do that exercise with a regular curl bar these days (yes, you guessed it right, they hurt) so I've been doing them on the cable station (still lying on a bench). I would say do them however they don't bother you because its not gonna make a big difference where you grip it; if you're working your triceps, you're working them!

                            Whey: i was using dymatize, but i switched to NOW foods whey isolate during this prep
                            dextrose: NOW foods
                            Creatine: now foods and allmax nutrition (regular creatine monohydrate)
                            BCAA: cheap supplements (bodybuilding.com house/generic brand)
