Hey J, Very good response bro!!!! Keep working hard. I think the same way bro!!!! Team U is 9 months away!!!
Thanks, Kiyoshi, I can tell from your other posts that you feel the same! Thats right, 9 months left till TU, which means onlyat most 6 months of off-season; which is why I'm up at 4am to train. Gotta do what it takes.
You say they have a new in the Trenches with you doing legs...is it up yet or no
No, not up yet. Bill Comstock and I shot it, but I need to get together with Dave to do the voice-over before it can be up. Hopefully this happens soon.

here are the pictures from my first show/s. They were one week apart. I dieted about 3 weeks (maybe 2.5) for the first one (the one outdoors, it's called The Chico Bodybuilding Show, won overall). I stopped dieting after the first one because I thought I was done competing, but my friend convinced me (I'm glad in the end) to do the second one (the 2005 NPC Contra Costa, placed 5th) on Wednesday night, the week of the show.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Second: Jrod, congrats on the new job!
Finally: I just read your blog from when you had to wake up early - although you had a great workout, how was the rest of your day? And how many hours do you work? Do you like your job?
"This is starting to sound like an After-School Special"
Just curious what market your job is in or more specifically what is your job. I am graduating in december and I am on the hunt for a job. I have applied but havent heard back from anyone yet. I am thinking I am looking in the wrong areas.

Hi Nic,
I went through the same thing. It took me a long time to find a job; and looking back on the process, I think I know a few reasons or why. First of all, I graduated with a BS in Math; however, I had no idea what I wanted to do. I considered teaching, personal training, sales, a math related job, non-math related jobs, etc. This made looking much harder than if I were to just narrow it down. Furthermore, once I narrowed it down, to sales, it took me a while (a couple interviews) to know how to interview for a position in sales (ie, what they look for/want to hear).
One thing I think you are doing that I didn't do is starting early. For some reason I thought it would be really easy to find a job, so I waited until I really needed one (IE no more $) to start looking. Good for you that you've started early. As tough as it may seem, just keep at it because eventually you'll find your job. Think about it like this (this is what I thought to make myself feel better): its going to take you X number of times applying (no one knows what X is), so each time you apply or interview and don't hear back, then you're just one step closer to reaching X.
As for tips for where/how to look (given that I don't know what you're looking for), I'd suggest craigslist, monster.com (post your resume online here), carreer builder.com, etc. Also, if your school has a job search service, use it (for example UC Davis has a site called Aggie Job Link, which is like a monster.com, but for employers that want recent graduates).
As for my job, I work for Cintas as a Sales Rep: www.cintas.com
Just keep at it, Nic, you'll eventually find one. GOOD LUCK!

Rest of the day/s went well. First day was all paper work (HR stuff), and watching training videos. I'll be in training for a while (13 weeks!), so I will not get to do my actual job till I'm done. A funny thing did happen, though, on my first day. For lunch, four managers and I went out to lunch at a nice restaurant; on the company to welcome me on my first day. However, I had already packed some chicken breast and rice AND I didn't feel like trying to find something to eat at this place. So, when everyone had gotten their food and it was time to eat, I pulled out my tupper ware filled with chicken and rice. The rest of the lunch after that, they all started asking me questions about BB, diet, etc.
Once I'm done with training, though, I think this job will work well/easily with bodybuilding. I am only in the office 2 days per week, for about 5 hours at a time. The rest of the time, I am in the field, driving around to various appointments I have made. I will have NO problem getting meals in on time like this.
