Looking nasty Alberto. What show are you gonna be competing at? Amazing vascularity and separation.

I am 5'9"(+.75) and weight about 158, and I do think there is room for so much more improvement. I didn't give Layne too much to work with this year, as far me looking a little too sloppy when I started dieting.
Next time I will reach a whole new level of conditioning I know I will! I am doing the NGA Mr. California on June 21st, and July 12th I am doing the INBF Capital City Show, and that is that for this year. I want to completely change my body over the next two years while focusing on getting my ass out of school.
Really exciting time because I can't really say I have ever really had a structured plan other than these last five months, I can only imagine what the next two years will bring.
Of course J-Rod has been a HUGE inspiration, because this sport is ruled by Goliath's, and it gives me hopes to see guys out there that are doing by bringing back "da purdy"

In person, during a workout, alberto looks even crazier than in those pics if you can believe it. Bro, couple years I guarantee you'll be placing in the top 5 at the TU if you keep this kinda progress up.Eric Helms Controlled Labs Athlete NASM CPT & PES

Last thing I don't want to hijack J-Rods thread, not that anyone can take the limelight from "THA MAN!"
I look bigger than I am because I my bones are so freakingly small! I mean my waist and joints are smaller than most ectos, but at the same time I am not plagued/blessed with their metabolic rate. So I can put on muscle despite my small frame. I am sure that if you while I don't have very much lbm, I guarantee you that if you were to cut-off all the skeletal muscle I have and throw it on a scale it would be as much as some guys that compete 20 pounds heavier than I.
The downside of being "tiny" I look like I am on meth when I diet. If any of you guys want to check it out, here is my log leading up to my next two shows.

Again you have been a big inspiration for me this year to bring out lights out conditioning. Both you and Jim Cordova are among my favorite guys bodybuilders because its proof that you don't have to be 200 plus pounds to do well.
Last year I had big time issues with my conditioning, but I made sure this year was different. So far so good, still got a few weeks to try to grind it out though. Here are a couple recent shots bro.
I hope to make some big improvements these next few weeks, and perhaps give the team u a try a few years from now. Again awesome meeting you bro, keep doing ya thing!
You're conditioning looks great! Looks like you corrected whatever conditioning issues you had from last year. Isn't it funny how less weight seems like A LOT more when you're in good condition?
It was nice meeting you too. I usually get to the gym earlier than that on weekdays, but I tried to sleep in a bit that day. Is that your usual training time? You ever train at other 24s near Hayward? On weekends I train at the one on Webster st. in Oakland (its really similar to the Hayward gym).
Good luck with the rest of your prep; looks like you're ready!Jeff Rodriguez

I live two blocks from that gym, I am slowly trying to turn myself into a morning person. I usually get there around 9am, I was running a little late myself. I am all over the place as far 24's go, though I have not tried the webster one.
That is the Newark gym, and that is the cycling room/posing room. Plenty of fuys that compete go there, and they got some awesome stuff. Great meeting you bro, you have been so motivational to me throughout the years.

I know you like to lift heavy and do low volume. What do you do when your strength stagnates? I heard you say that if you cant move up in weight then you work on bettering your form with the weight. But i would imagine at somepoint your strength comes to a halt....then what? do you take a week off? switch up the excersices? do you "cruise"?
thanks for the response!
