Did u binge any? Or have any meals that u enjoy?
I didn't eat too bad till I got home; so I didn't "binge" till about 3-4 days after the show. (show ended Saturday night, my flight home was Tuesday morning).

The night after the show I ate salmon and rice followed by oats, raisins, and Isolyze; then went to bed.

BUT, when I got home, I drove straight from the airport to sushi buffet.

      is that true jeff

I don't know if the rumor is true or not, but the email from them said it was out of "concern for the welfare of the team in an unsettled region of the world."

Oh well, I've really been looking forward to the offseason anyways. This is going to be a VERY good offseason for me!

That is probably true, I know I wouldn't want to be in any unsettled regions or the world these days! When is the last time they had it in the states?

Yeah, its kind've a relief to get back to offseason eating and training. You're just going to keep on getting better! Bad news for you're fellow competitors!

Actually, its been mentioned enough, that now I'm considering how to do it. If I make it, I need to figure out how to film and edit it. I'll seriously consider it though for this coming offseason.

Hahaha, it goes both ways! I thought about you as I was dieting for this year's TU; I knew you would be a threat.

THanks, Kiyoshi, have a great offseason yourself. As for that video, give me a few weeks/months to gain some strength back , then, yeah, thats not a bad idea. Lets bring it up to Bill in a few weeks/months. I'll make the trip south!

I'll make a cameo as the spotter.

Do you intake the same amount on off-days as you do on training days? May have missed that somewhere (if you've gone over that before).

I edited my blog just for your quesiton .

On off days, I eat just a bit more per meal and simply don't have the workout shakes. In the end, it comes out to a few hundred calories less than a training day. Here's what I added to my blog:

OFF DAY (basic structure of diet)

                        1) High GI Carbs, 1.5 Isolyze
                        = 35C, 40P, 0F

                        2) – 7 or 8) Low GI Carbs, Protein, Moderate/High Fat
                        = 35-40C, 40-50P, 10-20F

                        Approximate TOTALS: 300+C, 400+P, 70+F = 3400 calories

                            • Thanks for the blog update! Do you lose much strength while you're dieting for a contest? I tend to hold on to my training poundages pretty well usually but as the show approaches I'm starting to feel the effects of dieting!

                              • I can't believe you just jump up your cals like that. I'd imagine you must feel rather bloated/stuffed the first couple days?

Any recommendations for a good/serviceable joint product? It seems like a lot of them cost a bit, unless the one's at Walmart are just as good.
