  • Hey Jeff!

First off, great bulking pictures! Your legs look HUGE!! Question, Have you always trained Max OT style? I've been lowering my volume more and more in the past year, and I feel like I might change to Max OT, seeing as I'm getting closer and closer to it with the lower volume.

Also, are you going to the Arnold Classic this year??

BD, no I don't take any fat burners. Closest thing I take is coffee before training.

As for the V-taper, you can get it going, its just a matter of time and bigger lats/shoulders.

If it wasn't bodybuilding related you dont have to answer of course...thanx
Haha, its not at all personal.

Here's what happened. Bill Comstock was shooting the video and after a set, Bill said to me "Jeff, I want to introduce you to Stan." So it was a short, maybe 1-2 minutes, conversation about the fact that I was doing the Team Universe and what his bodybuilding plans were. He said he took some time off from competing and is planning on doing a show in a year or so. Then I said nice to meet you, we shook hands and that was it.

I saw him several minutes later and it looked like he was doing a photo shoot. He had his shirt off and was looking pretty thick.

I started training with heavier weight/lower reps after about 8 months of getting into working out and have continued since (I've been training for 8 years now).

I wish, but no I'm not going to the Arnold this year.

I'd REALLY like to go to the olympia this year. though. Should be a really good one.

                Haha.

My shoulder has been bothering me a bit recently so I've been taking it easy on chest day (I'd rather not film one of these workouts). Also, I have to make someone come with me just to film and I was having a problem timing it (only get one shot at chest and triceps per week). When my shoulder gets better ,soon, I'll get it filmed and put it up.

                • What kind of numbers do you put up for military presses and side laterals? Your shoulders are quite powerful.

                  • whats up jeff, i have a chest training question for you
basically when i train my chest my shoulders and triceps do most of the work, they are way more developed and my chest is lagging behind because of it.

any ideas on how i could bring my chest up to match?

                    • I HAD A QUESTION REGARDING CREATINE...I SEE U TAKE IT IN ALL UR SHAKES DURING WORKOUT DAYS BUT DO U USE IT ON OFF DAYS AT ALL. I WANNA SEE IF I CAN NOT USE IT ON MY OFF DAYS AND IT STILL BE SOMEWHAT EFFECTIVE...IF U DO USE IT ON UR OFF DAYS HOW DO U USE IT

Last training cycle I got up to a personal record of 4 reps with 110 DB.

For side laterals, doing the 1 arm at a time, I can get up to 55-60.

Sounds like your solution lies in your question: "basically when i train my chest my shoulders and triceps do most of the work."

This is probably what you need to address. With pressing movements, your shoulders and triceps are going to be involved, but you should also be able to feel that your chest is working (you might have to practice). Are you going way too heavy and compromising form?

On workout days I take 5g creatine before and 5g creatine after training. On off days I don't take creatine.

If for some reason I was going to take it on an off day (like if I wanted to still be on creatine, but needed more than 1-2 days off), I would take 5g with breakfast.

I don't think you need to take it on off days, though.
