I am getting blood work done in about a week, I am curious to know what you think I should be concerned with? I already know I want to have my test levels check and my thyroid function tested. I was also hoping I could some how found out my Myostatin levels? You can probably tell that this is the first time I have ever gotten blood work done, as I really don't know a whole lot. Do you think you could help translate the numbers once I get the results back? I have read a lot about what numbers are good and what are bad, but there is a lot information to remember. Any help about or useful information you can give me regarding blood work would be most helpful.

6ft
204lbs
10-15% BF (not dieting at the moment)
22 years old (hoping my test levels aren't down the shitter just yet)

what exactly are you wanting to find out from this? myostatin i don't think they test for; and even if they did I don't think blood levels are really important, i think the intramuscular levels are what makes the difference... so unless you want a muscle biopsy done

I just want to know where I stand health wise, i.e. my cholesterol levels, test levels, etc..
Assuming you have had blood work done, what do you normally look for?
blood lipids, fasting blood glucose, blood insulin, thyroid levels. BUN & creatinine won't tell you much since they will be elevated due to a high protein diet
Question bout fish oils, I noticed on the Bodybuilding.Com video that you supplement w/ them. Now there's millions of diffrent potencies, and I'm not quite sure what to use. I'm using a supplement w/ 180 EPA 120 DHA and 25 GLA per capsule, I'm taking about 5 a day, 1 w/ each meal. Does this seem about right, or should I get a higher potency supplement? Looking good in those pics btw!

I know you speak alot on the virtues of BCAAs esp post-workout. WHat about taking a small dose of free form "DL-Phenylalanine" with the BCAA/WHEY shake PWO?
I see many supplements add this MT's Anator or Biotest's Surge.
Is it just placebo or anything to back up the anabolic benefit of doing that?
