I'm sorry about that, but thus far we've managed to keep the thread pretty well so let's not start it up. I am just not sure what tipsta's problem with me is, but some people will have a problem with you regardless of what you do... just how it is. He's certainly welcome in this thread with his input if he can do it in a cordial manner.

as far as creatine while cutting it will help maintain your fullness & cell volumization which very well may be anti-catabolic.

I dont want to keep feeding this fire but be honest now. All I did was post some technical info on intra and extracellular fluid balances, hoping it would help you guys get drier on stage. Then out of nowhere you, like everyone else, you started bashing my practice only because you had absolutely NO experience in that arena. Thats exactly what happens on evey thread I post. Its guys with opposite advice and they have no clue.
Now I see everybody is completely informed on all topics. I'll no longer throw my 2 cents in. Just tried to help is all.

Bro I have no problem with you! Heck, you are the ONLY guy here I trust listening to. Anybody who sat with Carl Lenore on superhumanradio has all the qualifications I need. Carl himself is very educated.!!! People respect you very much. So when I tell someone that vanadyl WILL drop blood sugar below desireable points then you tell a person ,NO it acts by only lower basal glucose levels so thats not the case. All from what you read!!! with NO practical experience at all with Vanadyl or any LONG TERM gda protocol. Get my point. All he really needs to do if he choses to take it to the next level with increased glycogen disposal is start using a glucometer. If hes got a headache and his blood sugar is at 62 for example. The next meal he does exact amounts and food choice without Vanadyl and If no headache, GREAT but test and see if #'s are above 80. Now hes getting a REAL answer. That is the ONLY way to know if low blood sugar is the issue causing the headaches. Now you say, NO, probably not, from what I read. Because of your advice he wont take the proper steps. That causes my time spent trying to help, totally wasted! Get it?

            • I didn't say it wouldn't... please re-read what I said. I said from the research I had read, vanadyl only reduces basal glucose uptake and not insulin stimulated. I didn't say it wouldn't, I just said I hadn't seen any evidence to suggest it would cause his headaches. I didn't say your input was wrong or anything like that, I just provided my angle and fully acknowledged it was only through research I had read. But for some reason you acted like I had insulted your mother or something.

I think you really think you need to stop taking this so personally. It's just my view. It's not religion, it's not politics. We don't have to agree, I can have my view and you can have yours and it is welcome... but what is not welcome is the bad attitude. Again, your input is completely welcome, but the attitude is not.

I would tend to agree with Layne. You are describing symptoms of hyertension. Hypertension can be alleviated with mineral salts and extra fluids. If blood sugar drops, systolic blood pressure rises. the vanadyl isn't the problem. It's plasmic viscosity and biothermy that's out of whack.

No, I am explaining symptoms of my personal battle as a hypoglycemic individual and someone whos VERY experienced with the use of VANADYL. Also, Silverback himself is hypo and his first sign is a headache. Ask anybody who uses insulin. Whats the first thing after using too much. They will tell you its a mild headache. So its from my practical experience. Thanks anyway.

                  • Layne,

When going on a cut, do you think it would be wise for a trainee to start carb cycling or adding in refeeds immediately or would it be better to just drop the cals week to week. I was told by someone that if you immediately start carb cycling, your body will adapt to carb cycling in a few weeks...and when you plateau, you have no other alternatives. However, I was under the impression that carb cycling keeps you from plateauing and even prevents your metabolism from slowing due to the high calorie/carb days.

metabolism slowing is just something that happens regardless of what you do, but refeeding and high intensity cardio can help prevent it to a certain extent
