    actually your not in such bad of shape...I did a similar thing and did Superdrol in 06 before i knew i was planning on competing, what natural was, etc...

    and apparently the INBF wants people 2 years clean of PH/PS before they can compete for the first time if you've already competed then you gotta wait the full 7...and I actually dont think that Havoc is technically banned yet in the ocb, nga, or inba/aba....

      if you took a banned substance then you will be relegated to NPC for a bit. ABA drug free length is 3 years, OCB is 5 years and INBF/NANBF is 7 years; some orgs like muscle mania & USBF only require you to pass a urine test the day of the show so if it is out of your system you are good to go.

        well if it's not banned then it's certainly in violation of the spirit of the rules but if it isn't banned then you can still compete

          Thanks for that info, but is Havoc a banned substance for the ABA or OCB?

          I checked the OCB banned substances, and i don't see havoc. Also, I'm on adderall, been on it for i don't know how long, but is that too a banned substance?

            I agree, the way I found out about this was when I had decided to compete and I contacted the NGA, the ABA, and INBF invidually, spoke to promoters for a few events and the president of the NGA, the INBF said they need you 2 years ps/ph free and the ABA basically said "its not banned just dont take it 6 weeks before the show" I guess so metabolites arent in my urine....and the NGA president told me "we basically dont allow any anabolic steroids, insuline, growth hormone etc, if its something you got over the counter its probably not as effective as the real thing" and this was even after I told him thats its basically an otc steroid, and he told me just make sure its ok with the promoter....I'm definitely not saying just juice the hell out of the latest prohormones and prosteroids, I'm just letting you know what I was told....FYI I wish I hadnt taken SD and I certainly havent used any ph/ps since

            EDIT definitely talk to promoters and what not before you compete, be very open and honest with what you've done and make sure everything is on the up and up

            • Hey Layne,

              I've got 2 questions.

              1) In your oppinion, how long of a break is needed from pre workout stims? Do I need to lower calories when not on a pre workout stim?

              2) I have been trying your 4-6 week bulk/ 2-3 week lean gain plan. I had been bulking at around 2800-2850 calories for 6 weeks and did not put on much size, I then cut at about 2500-2600 calories for 2.5 weeks now, and feel like my strength is beggining to go down, Do you think my body is ready to start bulking again?

              • 1) probably 2-4 weeks

                2) I think your calories are too close together. there is very little metabolic difference as your calories are only 200 apart from cutting to bulking. I'd try doing 3000 bulk & 2000-2200 cut

                  thanks Layne, I think I would fall apart at 2200 calories, So maybe I will try work my way up to 3200 cals down to 2400. As always, I appreciate your advice

                    how much would you charge to tell me what all the numbers mean from my blood test results when i get them back? I just had it taken today and i should be receiving the results in about a week.

                      • is it true that arginine competes for absorption with other aminos? if this is the truth if my pre work out meal is 1 hour before the workout and its just whey isolate and 1/2 cup oatmeal and i take Arginine 20 min pre workout with creatine and EAAs and BCAAS am i totally wasting my time/money since they "compete" for absorption...do u have any articles on your amino researce or anything of that nature...have a great weekend layne!

                        • even if some aminos compete with others, the transporters are present in excess, it should not be an issue. People make way too much of it

                              He has said there has been recent studies showing that cycling is beneficial. I've read and do 2 months on, 1 month off.
