  • Layne,

    What was your offseason and contest weight when you became the 2001 INBF Mid America Muscle Classic overall Teen champion? Also, how tall are you?

        Layne,

        First, Merry Christmas!

        Thanks for posting your power upper body day.

        I know you're an animal when it comes to deadlifts, am I correct saying you usually throw them in on your lower body power day since they involve the quads so much?

        Also, do you count this as your quad power movement (for sets of 5) or do you throw another exercise on for sets of 5 that hits quads more direct (like your monster front squats)?

        Thanks and enjoy the holiday!

                    they were not super deep but they sure as hell were not half reps. Don't be 'that guy' who talks shit on everyone's big lifts. He controlled the weight well and got his upper arms lower than parallel to the ground;

                      Come on man, that is very close to a full range rep. Very impressive with that kind of weight. Don't try to knock people down, it only reflects on you.

                      • Layne, There is a raging debate going on over at the Palumbo forum and would like to know your opinion. Post workout, is waxy maize and BCAA's or waxy maize and whey isolate equally effective or is one more better than the other. The debate centers around the thought that the BCAA/WMS will be more quickly absorbed by bypassing digestion, whereas the WPI/WMS will be slower due to the WPI going through the digestion process. I know this is an one of the many areas of your expertise and curious as to your thoughts.

                        Thanks & Merry Christmas

                        • Layne,

                          I am planning out a future LEAN Bulk. I am actually planning on using the Scivation Endomorph Bulk Diet. I want to make this a super lean bulk so that way I can keep my abs and also so I will not have to cut very much after. My question is, how much weight gain should I keep myself to each week? I know its usually about a pound of week, but that would not be all muscle and even a half a pound all week would not be all muscle because that would equate to 25lbs of muscle by the end one year (not too practical). What do you suggest? Thanks!
