I have answered many of your questions, even after you disrespected me on another thread. I answered emails from you, PMs, and questions in this thread and this is what you do. I have no words for you. Nothing.

This would be different if I was some guy who you'd never talked to before who just had a DVD out there somewhere.

Seriously. It's $30. I spent thousands of dollars and hours upon hours of my time making it. I'm not some big rich corporation trying to eat your cash. I'm a normal guy who works his ass of who is in graduate school FULL TIME, who owns his own business and it is trying to do his best. On top of everything else I do I come on here and answer hundreds of pages of questions and never ask for JACK in return.

        So please... go away.
        what busniess do u own

                  • This study just came out and it is huge:

                    J Nutr. 2008 Nov;138(11):2205-11. Links
Antioxidant supplementation restores defective leucine stimulation of protein synthesis in skeletal muscle from old rats.

                    Marzani B, Balage M, Vénien A, Astruc T, Papet I, Dardevet D, Mosoni L.
INRA, Centre de Clermont-Ferrand-Theix, UMR 1019, Unité Nutrition Humaine, Saint Genès Champanelle, F-63122 France.
Aging is characterized by a progressive loss of muscle mass that could be partly explained by a defect in the anabolic effect of food intake. We previously reported that this defect resulted from a decrease in the protein synthesis response to leucine in muscles from old rats. Because aging is associated with changes in oxidative status, we hypothesized that reactive oxygen species-induced oxidative damage may be involved in the impairment of the anabolic effect of leucine with age. The present study assessed the effect of antioxidant supplementation on leucine-regulated protein metabolism in muscles from adult and old rats. Four groups of 8- and 20-mo-old male rats were supplemented or not for 7 wk with an antioxidant mixture containing rutin, vitamin E, vitamin A, zinc, and selenium. At the end of supplementation, muscle protein metabolism was examined in vitro using epitrochlearis muscles incubated with increasing leucine concentrations. In old rats, the ability of leucine to stimulate muscle protein synthesis was significantly decreased compared with adults. This defect was reversed when old rats were supplemented with antioxidants. It was not related to increased oxidative damage to 70-kDa ribosomal protein S6 kinase that is involved in amino acid signaling. These effects could be mediated through a reduction in the inflammatory state, which decreased with antioxidant supplementation. Antioxidant supplementation could benefit muscle protein metabolism during aging, but further studies are needed to determine the mechanism involved and to establish if it could be a useful nutritional tool to slow down sarcopenia with longer supplementation.

                    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
For years i've wondered what the mechanism by which aging decreases the response of protein synthesis to amino acids. OXIDANT STRESS! I should have known! oxidant stress impairs insulin signaling and impairing the insulin signal will reduce the synergistic effect of insulin and amino acids on protein synthesis. Hence you will need more amino acids to get the same effect because you aren't getting the contribution from insulin!

                    brilliant!

on a serious note, I bought the DVD and it was WELL worth the money spent, some of the information on cyclical approaches to dieting, occlusion training, phat training, and contest prep are simply cutting edge imho.
Well technically you are using the phat training right now and look what's happening! (He's progressing silly in the gym!)

                      Layne,
This 'situation' reminds me of guys who come into my shop looking for sponsorship...and we give it to them. Then come race day they're running someone elses sticker on their shit! Yep gives you a warm fuzzy feeling.
See you're far more generous than I. I just quit giving it out to anyone because of some assholes.
So kudos to you for being so kind hearted.
Ha! I was just thining. You must be the man now since people want to hack your stuff lol

But not necessarily more antioxidants if supplimentation of them is already being done correct? Because of the pro oxidant condition that can create.

Do you only have the cramping post workout? Also how often are you stretching?
                            Slightly dehydrated perhaps?

I was getting cramps in one calf and it was caused by the muscles in my foot being tight. I few massages and it's all good now (not saying this is what is going on with you).
