    • awesome deadlifts Layne!

I have noticed that when I go heavy on deadlifts I obviously feel it my lower back, traps, hams etc but also recently especially in my lats. Sometimes after 2 heavy sets my lats are so exhausted I struggle with my third heavy set. Have you noticed this at all?

      Thanks,

I still hear of the "no more than 35-40 grams is all you can absorb at one sitting" rule. Is that rule totally bogus?
hell no! 40-50g at a meal will easily max out synthesis with most protein sources.

          • 585x3 max= 620, pretty good when the strongest bodybuilders who have been lifting 10+ years and on tons of drugs do just over 700.

nope, just don't use straps when i dead and that seems to help out my grip.

I never wore straps for the longest time on anything and i think that's why my grip is so good, now i wear them as inflammation in my elbows has required it and they alleviated that problem, so i wear them for other stuff, but not pulling

So 200 grams a day would be plenty?
