What sort of heart rate/intensity should I be aiming for immediately PWO?
Also what kind of caloric expenditure per session or is that based on where the individual is at during prep?

            thanks for your help.

this might be too specific of a question, esp. since it pertains to contest prep. if this is too specific, i understand out of respect for paying clients.

during a contest prep when you eat baked lays with your BCAA's to get a small insulin spike, i take it you do not take ALA with it correct? i know some people on here will think that's insane, esp. when waking in the middle of the night and doing it before going back to sleep. honestly i would never have done that without taking a GDA with it, but you are going for the insulin spike to elevate the leucine levels and keep them from remaining stable?

good stuff from the audio show man, thanks for sharing the leucine info with us.

                • during contest prep i would not be having carbs in between meals. it will just be too many calories over the course of the day for most people to drop fat on. This is a strategy for offseason to maximize muscle gains

                  • Layne have you ever had an injury deadlifting? If so how long were you out for? Did you see a chiropractor?

Really opens my eyes to heavy lifting, particularly in the squat/dl department.

                    Thanks layne.

                        • layne ive heard conflicting ideas on creatine, i heard that you only need to take it on workoutdays because that is the only time you deplete the stores, is this true or shoudl we stick to the "take it everyday 3-5g" thing
