Maybe, but the last I saw of you, you'd just torn your pec. Looks like you've made a hell of a recovery.

He certainly has, although that was what? About 2.5 years ago?

Thanks for the response Layne. I really appreciate it. Do you cycle your creatine intake?

          • Layne,

This close to your first show in a long time, are you nervous? And how do you cope with the nerves?

Also, do you prefer dextrose over maltodextrin?

            • Layne, in your opinion would electro therapy be good for helping heal damage in muscle and tendon tissues or would ultra sound therapy be better?

Sorry to be annoying with so many questions, but do use dynamic stretching before training?

                      • Layne, I know the western research on Tribulus shows its almost total crap and I thought I read you saying the same thing, ZMA helps me sleep better but I highly doubt it has any test boosting effects? In natural bodybuilding are there any supplements worth taking to boost test? I am NOT willing to take pro-hormones(as they are banned by many natural orgs and the potential for liver toxicity) I am also a registered nurse(i like bodybuilding but i want to be healthy as well) and am drug tested at work, so natty for me, Anything worth while? My current supps are, whey, BCAA tabs, multi-vitamin, pre-workout supp (creatine, beta-alanine, caffeine, arginine), congrats on the PhD and pro win by the way, your conditioning was world class

                              • Layne,

What are your thoughts on caffeine as a pre-workout supplement? I have heard that caffeine is a vasoconstrictor and might actually inhibit the pump you would get while training.
Also what is the maximum amount of caffeine you think it is safe to consume each day?

                                Thanks alot
