      • try lowering sodium down to 1500mg per day and see if that helps

        • Layne... I've learned so much from you man... Everything you say I take as gospel and I've learned how to manifest all this knowledge into my workouts and disciplined lifestyle. This in-turn has produced such awesome gains for me. Once again man...thanks for being so generous with your knowledge man.

          • no problem buddy I really appreciate those kind words. I'm glad you've been able to gleen something useful from my posts and turn that into gains. That is awesome. Remember though, even I have my biases and yes, have been wrong before (shhh don't tell Isabel), and so it's always good to do research, but I try to get everything write before I say it and make sure my game is tight

            • Question for you Layne in regard to your cyclitic method of eating when off season. Do you keep your exercise regime the same when doing the 2-3 weeks of dieting as when you are eating more?

I was also very impressed with your knowledge on the no bull show, very informative. Im natural myself so the knowedge is invaluable.

thanks man. If you guys really liked the show that much let John & Dave know... hopefully that will make them think about featuring natural bodybuilding again.

my training is cyclic but independent of diet. 2-3 weeks of dieting really isn't enough to cause you to lose strength or energy. I do deload at least once every 12 weeks so i try to make that fall in with the 2-3 week cut

                  • I did a bit of searching and established that insoluble fiber provides no energy and soluble fiber all told ends up giving about 2 cals per gram. Does this sound right to you?

                            • Another wicked debate on PBW Layne, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Only thing was it didn't go for long enough! It was a shame to have to cut it short yet again.

I put in a good word in the PBW thread in the hope that they'll have you on again. The debates of the last 2 weeks are seriously some of the best content they've had on there.

By the way, thanks very much for the replies to my fiber questions.
