  • Grip,Help with equipment/gear?

I trained back/traps this morning and my hands are still hurting from the workout.
I had to stop DB shrugs cuz my forearms got tired.
what do you use to help on heavy lifting days?

I use cheap canvas straps because I like to feel the bar and my hands are small so I don't want to add to the width of the bar...
    any suggestions?

a certain wrap or product work for you?

anyone use leather straps instead of the canvas ones?

    help please.

Schiek makes many great different style lifting straps,
many to see online - been thru canvas ones,
moved on to straps w/padded velcro wrist -
never used leather ones , might make
for a sweatier grip - not sure, tho'

Chalk as much as possible to improve grip strength. When that fails, then I use Versa Gripps. I highly recommend them.

I have heard good things about versa grips, but I bought some from APT and they are the definition of heavy duty.
