i've been getting hungry about 2/3rds of the way through my second daily workout and the only ready-made food i have are these baked oat squares with protein powder and egg whites so i've been chowing down on them and continuing but it increases my carb intake too and i gained some pudge (don't like the idea of becoming dependent on an all-liquid diet / too many shakes and your digestive tract won't be able to process solids properly)
so i've ordered casein as well as whey
does anyone have any idea what proportion of protein source to aim for whey:relative to:casein?
(the casein takes 7 hours to digest; whey is used up in 45 minutes)
