  • UFC and FOX Release Chael Sonnen Following Second Drug Testing Failure

    And just like thatů

Following a very public and recent drug testing failure, his second in just a few months, Chael Sonnen has been released by the UFC and his job as a FOX analyst.
In a joint release the UFC and FOX stated the following:

The UFC and FOX Sports organizations announced today the termination of their respective broadcasting services agreements with analyst Chael Sonnen. This decision comes in light of Sonnen failing a second test conducted by the Nevada Athletic Commission for banned substances in June. Sonnen was previously under temporary suspension by the Nevada Athletic Commission for failing an initial test conducted in May. DISCOUNT CODE: ebfitness15

Wiry its not as easy as you think. Chael messed up bigtime AT a time where its not going to help the UFC/MMA. Especially after all his Lance Armstrong talk.

I believe this is the first time they did an expanded drug test - prior to this no ufc fighter had been tested for either hgh or epo, so they all knew they could take them and get away with it...
...he's the unlucky will be interesting to see if they do an expanded test on any of the UFC 175 main eventers...and if any pass
