  • Anderson Silva fails drug test (AGAIN!)

New just broke, Anderson Silva failed a 2nd drug test for steroids (masteron) during the night of the fight @ UFC 183 against Nick Diaz. Remember, he denied his 1st drug test and claimed he never used steroids, guess what? he was lying. Testing positive 2 times in a matter of about a month for the same drug!

Unfortunately, this is going to ruin the Anderson Silva legacy. Shame, as he would be an amazing hall of fame athlete. The only one to really be able to outpace Fedor in the MMA hall of fame.

Anderson silva is a shell of his former self.I think its time for him to retire period.I happen to agree about letting doping go in sports. Its a way to level the playing field out.Its obvious tons of athlete's are doping and getting away with it for longs periods of time and in alot of cases they are getting away with it and not getting caught period

This guy is in roids? Seriously?

I mean, i can understand that use sports drugs like stimulants, but steroids do not seem to have much effect on his body.

This guy was in roids? Seriously? Just because someone uses steroids, it does not mean they will look like Phil Heath.
I'm no expert in sports drugs but studies in mice indicate muscle growth, even without training. How do these guys to stop muscle growth?

i realize ur a woman. So if u were a guy, let him hit u in the face and see just how powerful a world class fighter is. Then u'll appreciate what steroids do to him. Basically some of the toughest guys in the world can't take him out, not exactly surprising he's on steroids. Especially with all the endurance training these guys go through.

Completely different training. Big muscles inhibit a fighter, they gas out.

It doesn't ruin the Anderson legacy for me obviously. I do wonder though if he's always used, or used to come back from this injury. Doesn't matter to me he is still the greatest MMA fighter ever IMO but I just am curious in that regard.

MMA, boxing, bicycling, running.. these are expending a tremendous amount of calories in their training.. way more than bodybuilders , plus sweating their lights out... this keeps their bodies leaner.. low body fat and LEAN muscle. bodybuilders meanwhile have large muscle mass (atleast the ones who aren't physique)

You need to understand that physical appearance don't mean shit in any other activity than bodybuilding.

UFC fighters and professional athletes of all sports use. The only question is who gets caught. I'm not sure why silva would use Masteron, considering it's really weak for strength and endurance. There are far better options out there. He would t get much benefit (if any) from that drug in my opinion.
