Because she claimed she could beat every guy in the UFC. Then had the audacity to claim she would beat Mayweather. She's full of crap. She fought nobodies and allowed those wins to inflate her ego. She believed her own hype too much. I had no idea that Holm was a 20-1 underdog. The first time I saw her fight I thought she would dominate Rousey. She's not a real champ and doesn't have a champions mindset. She said if she loses again she's done fighting. What a coward. She only liked it when she was fighting bums.

It's hard to pin point exactly, I personally think it was a marketing strategy in its infancy, that somehow took on a life of it's own and manifested into something she no longer was able to either put a stop to or differentiate fact from fiction. She took on a persona that she used to sell herself initially. I'm pretty sure still believes her loos was fluke. Ironically she did an interview of how shes going to come in prepaird and even predict her loss down to a T...and somehow still lost exactly as she had predicted, so what happened to her not being so "stupid"

realistically, it's unlikely she'll make the changes & improvement needed to match or even beat Holmes. I found Holmes to be a better overall better rounded athlete.
However, this is still a contact sport, and you win some and loose some. I doubt we've seen the last of Ronda. She's still young and with one loss on her record it's not the end of her career, not by a long shot.
I do think she needs to make some major changes to her training camp. Get a real stand up coach. Work on her kicks, and undoubtedly improve her conditioning. She gassed out after 1 round.

She is staying with Edmund so right there shows you there will be ZERO changes. Her beating will be worse next time.
