    'Unique' Iron Maiden guitar nabbed during Greek gig

    Heavy metal group Iron Maiden are looking for a one-off guitar allegedly stolen during a weekend concert in Greece, the group said on their website.
    In a message posted on Monday, Iron Maiden noted that the Jackson guitar belonging to guitarist Adrian Smith was missing after Saturday's show and offered a reward of a Maiden tour jacket for its return.
    "Can all Maiden fans please be on the lookout for the guitar," the group said. "It will be extremely hard to get rid of as it's the only one in the world."
    "There will be a reward of a Maiden tour jacket and I'm sure a hand written letter of thanks from Adrian for anyone with information leading to the recovery of the guitar," the message said.

      Adrian's new Jackson guitar was stolen after the show in Athens on Saturday night.
      Can all Maiden fans please be on the lookout for the guitar.
      It will be extremely hard to get rid of as it's the only one in the world.
      There will be a reward of a Maiden tour jacket and I'm sure a hand written letter of thanks from Adrian for anyone with information leading to the recovery of the guitar.

          I was thinking the same thing when I first saw it this morning. Smith is really upset as he only used it for a couple of shows after having it custom made.

            LOL, I like him but he makes me laugh. That's not a custom model any more than mine are. Mine are "customized" but they are not "custom". It's a strat with an ebony fingerboard and regular electronics. What's so special about that that he cant replace??

              Sure, everything can be replaced but he can't get that one back. It's as if you're enjoying a nice steak and you turn your head and when you turn it back it's gone. Yeah, you can order another one but you were enjoying that one.
